TesPro assembles machines in the virtual world using AutoDesk Inventor, an advanced 3-D parametric modelling program, before physical construction begins. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) allows individual parts and complete assemblies to be analyzed for stress and deflection. When complex geometries and large assemblies need to be analyzed, hand calculations often involve large assumptions, and are extremely time consuming. FEA allows complex assemblies to be analyzed quickly, reduces assumptions and simplifications, and shows part interactions with regard to stress, deflection, and reaction forces.
